The Grinches Lose A Couple

The Grinches have lost a couple.  The bill for healthcare for 9/11 first responders has cleared the Senate and is headed back to the House, due to compromises made in the Senate.  Don't Ask Don't Tell has been repealed and signed into law by Obama.  The New START treaty was ratified by the Senate.  I really didn't expect all that to happen.  Either the sitting Republicans have suddenly realized that compromise really is a good thing, or Obama is the "Come Back Kid".  If he is, I am good with that.  But we have a new posse coming to town in January, and we won't know if he can keep the momentum going for a while.  I stand by my prediction for now.
