Minerals Management Service Ethics

Today Interior Secretary Salazar is commenting on an Inspector General's report that details ethical lapses at MMS, specifically the Lake Charles, La. office. The report is not available publicly, and I am very curious about what it may show. The allegations apparently have resulted in some personnel changes and this one comes on the heels of an earlier report, same subject.

The employees involved need to be fired or demoted if removal is considered too harsh. We may never know for sure how much their failure to perform their jobs in an ethical manner contributed to the chain of events leading to the Deepwater Horizon disaster. They don't deserve their jobs.
