Listen to Jan Schakowsky dancing in this interviw around the issues about the voting method and inclusion of the student loan provisions in H.R. 3962, the health care reform bill. She danced around some other stuff too, but those 2 items really got my attention.
According to Ms. Schakowsky this is all standard operating procedures, normal, normal, normal, done in the past and after all, when you get down to it, all that people will care about is what's in it for them. Ya know I can't stand the way this is going down, but I have to hand it to her, she's right about the voters. It's all about the pocketbook, and what winds up in it is far more important than how it got there or what was done to put it there. If the shoe fits people..........
