Tom Mannis labels it correctly, Big Machine. It's nice to know that the Democrats have their very own newspaper in the Sun-Times, or so it seems. I don't know if they talked to any of the candidates, but the endorsement doesn't read like they even bothered. Just a rubber stamp it would appear. At least the Tribune's endorsements sounded like they bothered to ask around. Mannis' blog today also features commentary about the Sun-Times endorsement of Toddy, so perhaps I shouldn't be surprised.
Another week and it will all be over, and hopefully we'll have a new alderman.

Yeah, the endorsement almost sounds written by said party. Joe was at Morse L this morning and evening and he was "working it" big time. I could hear him from across the street, "How ya doing? I'm Joe Moore!"
jocelyn, the next time Joe yells a greeting to you, yell:
HI THERE JOE BABY, HOW ARE YOU AND YOUR FRIEND IVAN THE ARSONIST DOING!!!!??? HOW'S OL' JAY JOHNSON AND HOW'S OLD BUD?
