Careful What You Wish For

You might get it.

From an email I just picked up from JoMo regarding a Nov 1 citizen's meeting:

Proprietors Andy and Devin Megee, and their attorney, Dean Margos, will present plans for a 93-seat restaurant, named the Century Public House, and a 299-seat entertainment venue, named the Morse Theater, which will feature an eclectic mix of Jazz and other types of music four nights a week. The proprietors are asking Ald. Moore for his support for a liquor license.

The Calendar at the Alderman's site gives the details on when and where.

With all the noise about the Harold Rider building (aka the Block building) and lack of development on Morse it will be interesting to see what the local neighbors really think of this proposal.
