After attending the CAPS meeting at Willye White my friend and I walked E on Howard, heading to our respective homes. There was a lot of traffic, and we saw blue lights flashing at Rogers and Sheridan. Per a passerby, 3 Russians were found in a van in an alley off Rogers and Eastlake. So far I have not confirmed. Traffic in both directions on Sheridan was being detoured onto Rogers for the N bound and onto Jonquil (I think) for S bound. Fire trucks and all the usual emergency vehicles were present. A police boat was offshore.
If anyone has heard/seen anything else, do tell.
ETA The Tribune is reporting the discovery of a a possible art project that looked like a bomb.
