Thomas Berry died today. If you read Dream of the Earth and The Great Work you will be exposed to his fundamental beliefs. Prophets are not recognized by their own people, and there are many who would consign Father Berry to the dust heap of history as just another New Age noisemaker. He was neither.
I knew he was quite elderly, and I know some of his friends who will sorely miss him.
