Drilling Our Future

Robert Rapier posted an essay about drilling in ANWR and the OCS. He notes that it is inevitable and offers some ideas on leveraging this to our advantage, rather than just trying to make political hay. He reinforces what I have been saying, and he is ably supported by Khebab in the Comments, that we really don't know for sure what is in the ground and recoverable. Regardless of where you stand on the issue, you better have a plan in mind to get you through the next decade since whatever oil is available won't show up the day after the lease is signed.
