I just caught up with Westgard's broadside on the Rogers Park Garden Group (RPGG). It was a cheap shot, period.
It makes not a bit of difference to me what the political leanings are of the RPGG. They should be congratulated for taking the lead to effect some positive, community building activity. Pam's comments make it clear RPGG is trying to build and maintain bridges, not walls. I think they are successfully doing that. Westgard needs to find another target.

I'd like to take some pictures of of the RPGG's work.
Do you know some of these locations?
Definitely a cheap shot. Perhaps Tom needs to find something productive to do besides appropriating someone else's artwork and warping its purpose in Photoshop.
It's rather a shame for all of us to devote so much attention to Westgard and his filth when there are so many matters in the world more needy of attention.
This crudball is like the internet trolls who post once in a while- they feast on attention and if you don't feed them, they go away.
I posted a few photos of this year's project at Morse & the lake: http://rogersparkneighbors.blogspot.com/2007/06/garden-is-born-on-saturday-morning-crew.html
It's matured some now.
food for thought...

What's your problem anyway? How can you jump on the bandwagon that the RP Gordon Group was so heinous, which you have to admit, garden /gordon get it? OK, nobody thinks it was funny, but what about the SLANDER? that followed, you gonna do any comment about that? Was that a cheap shot? Alot of people are really disheartened about the RP blogosphere now, is that where you been? Yeah, I know how you feel.
Paradise, what slander are you talking about? I know there was a reaction to the post, but could you please be specific.
They went off on his whole personal life and accused him of bestiality, it's linked to in his current blog post about "diatribes" And I say "they" because nobody protested, people think its funny.
