Peak Oil: The If Factor

An excellent article by Dave Cohen who spares no one as he considers the issues around determining the when of Peak Oil. He certainly takes Daniel Yergin and the Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA) (Yergin's employer) to task, using their own data. However "peakists" are not off the hook totally, as Cohen does not believe it possible to call a date far into the future and explains why. But for the moment, the "peakists" may have the better overall arguments. Not terribly technical, he explains his terms when he uses them. Worth a read.
